For a year, the battle raged on between many contestants but soon it got down to these two contestants. Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. It all came down to this last night. To make the show longer, they had performances be The black eyed peas, Lighnel Richie, Steve martin {Aka: comedian} , and all top 13 American idol contestants. Plus the golden funny winners. We were joined by many including Tatiana del Toro, Norman gentle, and Bikini girl.{they were all VERY funny} Then it was the moment we have been waiting for.... The Next American idol. Carrie Marie Underwood was born to Stephen and Carole Underwood in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and was raised on her parents' farm in the rural town of Checotah, Oklahoma.[7] She is of Scottish descent[8][9] and she has two older sisters, Shanna and Stephanie. Her father, Stephen, worked in a saw mill while her mother was an elementary school teacher.[10] During her childhood, Underwood had performed at Robbins Memorial Talent Show while also singing at the Free Will Baptist Church and later on for local events in Checotah, including Old Settler's Day and the Lion's Club.[11] In 1996, she was in the process of getting a contract with Capitol Records, but the deal was canceled when the recording company's management changed. She has said in recent interviews that after hearing the hit Clay Walker song, "Then What?", she knew a career in country music was her calling.[12]

In the summer of 2004, Underwood auditioned for American Idol in St. Louis. During the top 11 finalists' performance on the March 22, 2005, Idol episode, Underwood sang a rendition of the number one 1980s rock hit "Alone" by Heart and judge Simon Cowell predicted that Underwood would not only win the competition, but she would also outsell all previous Idol winners.[16] Underwood is one of five winners never to have been voted in the bottom three (the others being Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, and David Cook); one of the show's producers later said that Underwood dominated the voting, winning each week handily.[17] While on the show, Underwood gained a loyal fan base known as "Carrie's Care Bears." Coincidentally, she was in the same sorority (Sigma Sigma Sigma) as Linda Denham, the creator of the original Care Bears franchise. After the show millions of viewers voted and The bottom 2 were; Anoop Desai and Meaghan Joy. Meaghan said she didn't care after Ryan Seacrest announced that she was going to be sent home. But, the judges have one save throughout the whole year and they chose to NOT save her.

Michael Sarver from American idol went home this week after he ruined a very good song.Meaghan joy,Scott macyntire, and Matt were not their normal best although I think Lil rounds should of gone home last week.Danny did an OK job last week singing " Jesus take the wheel" by Carrie Underwood. Adam did a Gothic rock style of "The ring of fire" by Johnny Cash and Kara said it was dark and mysterious, but it left her hanging. He was not the Adam we usually see on American Idol. What Lemonade should be!!

When I moved to Texas my friends gave me an idea of how to make lemonade at diners. Here is how they did it;

First you take a plain ice water. Add 4 fresh lemons. Then add 4 packets of Sweet~n~ Low. Then stir for about 1 minute. Then taste. If Lemonade is not sweet, add 1 more lemon and 1 more Sweet~n~Low packet. Then taste. Now you have fresh lemonade. Enjoy!!
